How to add front page news

  1. Log into the library website with your ONID credentials:  library.oregonstate.edu
    1. Only the 5 latest news items will display. 
  2. Go to Content -> Add Content -> OSU Library News
  3. Enter a title
  4. Select all places where the news item applies.  Ignore Intranet, Ecampus, Graduate and Faculty - these are old designations 
  5. Pick an end date (when the event will be removed from the front page)
  6. Enter the content under "Body"
  7. Scroll down and under "Domain Access Options", select the web space(s) where the news item should be published
    1. If you select "Send to all affiliates" the news item will appear on the main page as well as the Guin and Cascades site.  Center for Digital Scholarship and Services is no longer a destination. 
  8. Scroll down and click save

Note – Content may not show up right away or disappear on schedule. If your content isn't showing or isn't disappearing, click 'Flush All Caches' under the 'home' icon, or contact Kenna to run cron.
