Agenda

  • Infestation Policy Draft Update
  • Don suggested we add a student employee to the committee in the fall. May be able to ask for interested students at the fall student orientation.
  • Disaster Plan Revision
    • Committee suggested improvements with organization including
      • Major contents list followed by a full contents list
      • Group similar material types together
      • Contact list response info and will need updating
    • Victoria will ask CN for Elizabeth to be added to the library shared drive for access
  • New anti-theft poster drafts
    • Victoria suggested that the person image be removed and only objects targeted by thiefs be highlighted. Since no one is around when items are stolen it makes sense and avoids people issues.
    • The other text revisions were accepted and will wait for admin review before printing.
  • Safety Week
    • Safety Week will occur during Sept. 12-16
    • Members will present Safety Info during Aug. 11 Library Admin Briefing
    • Events include
      • Announcement Email (Bryan)
      • Evacuation drill (Bryan) - Don and Victoria will check conflicting schedules
      • First Aid/CPR Training (Bryan)
      • Daily Safety Emails/Games/Prizes (Committee - will determine point person)
      • Kiosk Safety Posters - all displayed during week (Bryan through Kelly Holcomb)
    • Members can suggest safety topic for library in-service (like Active Shooter Events)
