5 minutes	Updates from UHSC	Rachel	Focusing on departments training for new folks Look at EHS trainings fire, earthquake, evacuations, fire extinguishers, etc. Uptick in accident reports
10 minutes	Incident reports	Sagan	Guin: patron got sick and threw up in library. Biologic hazard Front desk of LEAD Patron upset that library was closed Shouted at students and tried to force their way in Threw a magazine at the window Yelled that he knew Kate Brown Left the building. Public Safety was not called.
10	Incident Report Recipients	Sagan	Only Rachel, Sagan and Don Frier are currently being emailed the reports. Who should be on the list beyond members of Safety Council Used to be members of LAMP as well Kristen and Lucinda seem obvious due to their positions Perhaps everyone on LEAD What about representatives from Mole Hole? Do we have someone on safety council? (Yes, we have contacted them) How should we send it out? Use a specific list serve? Manually add names in? Has the Safety Council distro list been updated? Yes and no. Conclusions: Send to Safety Council, LEAD, LAMP
5 minutes	Smoke and Wildfire Policy Review	Rachel	Valley Library EOP has been updated. Approved August 18 p. 51-52 refer to smoke and wildfire Includes links for air quality measurements Advice on response Last year we closed because of particulates in the air and impact on air quality as well as HVAC.
15 minutes	Emergency Preparedness to do Checklist	All	EOP is 2 years old and needs to be updated Sagan asked if we would discuss it during meeting or should we review it ahead of time. Rachel requested we at least skim it. Will take it piece by piece each meeting. Floor Monitors. Currently Sagan, Lucinda, Rachel and Teresa have been trained. Rachel will reach out about getting our vests. Department Alert List has been updated by Rachel every 6 months. We also have a Library-specific OSU alerts as well. Emergency Poster-let us know if you need some for your department
5 minutes	Upcoming Fire Drill	All	Do we need to make an adjustment to the date? Ecampus and Java II both requested we adjusted to ensure we have new staff challenged but not frustrated. There are some restrictions regarding which day we can do. Discussed the balance of the need for the drill with stress due to coming back after 18 months of closure. Encourage departments to review evacuation procedures found on the wiki.
10 minutes	Safety Week in October	All	Outreach committee is talking about purchasing swag for the library Could check in with them for prize options. Derrick is still trying to reach out to other departments about getting swag. Previously Partners have participated in Safety Week. Erin asked how Java II participated in the past Karl will meet with Java and GWC about safety supplies Karl explained the plan for Safety Week
5 minutes	Other matters arising	All	Erin asked if new employees are required to complete the bridge trainings to come on site. Rachel said she didn't believe so. Has requested some of those trainings be updated. Rachel mentioned the flu training is also quite good and worth it, especially for those interacting with the public. Sagan mentioned that Guin gets notified of Incident Reports but doesn't have a rep on Safety Council. Safety Council should probably be Valley specific Mary is on the Safety and Health Committee for the Guin campus which is probably more relevant for her. Mary was invited but declined. Could send her a mini package of materials we develop for Safety Week.
