The OSU Libraries Special Collections & and Archives Research Center (SCARC) reading room is dedicated to the use of patrons examining SCARC materials and is not open for general reading, study, or research. On occasion, SCARC hosts (and internally to the department) manages in-person events to feature SCARC materials in the reading room and lobby.
The SCARC Reading Room does not typically host non-SCARC related events, however, on occasion and with approval from the OSULP Dean, SCARC is able to accommodate requests from groups such as The OSU Foundation, the President’s Office, the Office of Finance and Administration, etc. or library partners to use the Reading Room and lobby area for special events with no connection to SCARC materials or services.
