A programming credential is only needed for the older CM locks that require a serial cable for programming. You do not need the programming credential when programming the AD-200 and CO-200 locks that use a USB cable.

NOTE: Treat the programming card as IRREPLACEABLE.

  1. To replace it, follow the instructions in the file folder Study Room Lock Specs for Creating a Programming Credential.
    1. Remove the back of the lock with a Philips head screwdriver.
    2. On the electronics board, press and release the INI button three times. The red LED will light up and stay on.
    3. Present the credential to the reader. The green and red LEDs will alternately flash indicating acceptance, then the red LED remains on. The instructions say it remains on, but I didn't find this to be the case and the procedure worked anyway.
    4. Press and release the INI button one time. The red LED will go out, if it was on.
    5. Test the programming credential with the lock by programming it.
    6. Repeat for all 79 locks.
