10 minutes | Incident Report Follow Up-February | Sagan | 2/7 Potential sighting of trespassing patron in Learning Commons - DPS was called. Unable to find him.
- No positive identification but behavior was consistent with excluded patron.
- Only have extremely outdated photo plus masks which has lead to misidentifying the patron once.
- For this reason, if the patron is not being disruptive, LEAD is not risk misidentifying the patron.
- DPS has instructed LEAD not to approach patron.
- Has made threatening statements. Has thrown items, but not aimed at anyone.
- Not clear if he is dangerous, but certainly loud and expressive.
- Patrons are only excluded after a pattern of disruption.
Larger discussion of difficulties identifying excluded patrons and whether or not that is a conversation for Safety Council or elsewhere. 2/17 DPS was called for anti-trans sticker in the restroom. - DPS responded.
- Bias report was filed.
2/24 Non-specific threatening graffiti on a white board - Identified who left the threat. These people have since left other equally dumb, but less threatening statements on white boards.
- Threat was identified as not credible so no evacuation was necessary.

5 minutes | Incident Report System Issues | Sagan | Qualtrics was storing data for Incident reports but wasn't mailing them out. This issue was on Qualtrics' end. - Because the reports are for historical documentation rather than in-the-moment communication, Rachel and Sagan decided it wasn't too serious of an issue for the time being.
- Sagan offered to email a spreadsheet of recent reports to the group if anyone wanted to see more information.
- Kenna asked for some follow-up about harassment/stalking reports from last month.
- There have been a few of these lately from patrons to staff and student employees.
- Sagan is planning more in-depth conversations with LEAD staff about handling these situations, especially where student employees are reporting harassing/stalking type behavior from patrons.
- In their role as a supervisor, Sagan has also contacted EOA about one incident in particular as a supervisor.
- Library has created an SOS channel in Slack for more real time response.
- Sagan asked for details about making notifications in that channel different or noisier.
- Kenna said she would look into it.

- We are planning to throw in some unexpected variables with this drill.
- Members reviewed schedules and discussed potential dates or scheduling conflicts.
|
