Large Projects

Roof Construction

• Received roof planning documents from Bassetti Architects.
• Timelines look to have bidding and permitting through summer and into fall
• Construction start October 2021 and completion in February 2022.

Offsite Storage

• Redid contract documents for offsite storage after learning the PO process would not be sufficient. All signatures are gathered!

Smaller Projects

• Security Camera quote for installing an additional unit to monitor the orange cash machine came in, asking them to also look at a couple of cameras that have some blur while they are on site.
• Still waiting on scheduling from Facilities on floor repair and the water fountains - the fountains were on back order so this one may be further out.
• 3755 was completed and is available for use thanks to Academic Technology squeezing us in. Further projects that require AT support will need ample lead time - preparations for fall/modification of meeting rooms or equipment etc.
• Met with Joe Majeski, Scott Drahn, Brandon Trealstad, and other stakeholders to discuss the LED lighting upgrade for the library. This is now an active project and slated to happen Spring 2021.

Ongoing Building Operations

• Lucinda presented with Margaret to LFA regarding all the work done to ready LibCal and library spaces for opening in fall 2020.
• Lucinda is preparing a supply order to support art collection work.
• Rachel dealt with the security breach Saturday 2.20.21 including working with law enforcement, messaging, and follow up with LEAD/onsite staff.

Planning

• Met with Dr. Marshall who curates the OSU Arthropod Collection about compact shelving systems. They are installing a new system and we discussed collaborating on a campus contract for service of the compact shelving!
• Attended LEAD Dept meeting to support discussion of Fall 2021 reopening
