Fire Drill Debrief

  • Fire Marshal said it went well.

  • Someone commented that it always happens on a Tues/Thurs around 10 am.
  • People were observed clearing out quickly.
  • SMS directed people to stairwell exit rather than the main entrance. Students appeared unaware that there were other exits.
    • That seems to be a common challenge.
  • Chris Ervin asked about who specifically to check in.
    • Rachel, Anne-Marie, or staff with orange vest by the front entrance (not student employees).
  • We have not gotten vests for floor monitor training despite them promising to send them. Rachel mentioned that to Brian Lilley who is looking into it.
  • LAMP said the OSU Alert system worked well.
    • Mike Bamberger said they are still tweaking the system, working with HR to make sure there aren't any more issues.
